Why would I want to cut out Dairy Products?
Pasteurisation.This process kills the bacteria and enzymes that help to digest milk in its whole form. Raw milk is live, pasteurised is dead.
Proteins form a tight indigestible ball after pasteurisation, heated milk will reverse this effect slightly.
50% of the vitamin C is destroyed in pasteurisation as well as 25% of vitamin B. worse than that it destroys natural antibodies that protect milk against certain bacteria.
High Cholesterol and FatHigh fat content in milk clogs up the arteries, skimmed milk lessens this but as ever when we manipulate nature it's not as positive as we hope, i.e. the chemicals used to take the fat out of skimmed milk it out and digestible enzymes removed? Also where does the fat go?

Problems with this digestion arise in the forms of skin rashes, eczema, ear infections and hyperactivity. A good test is to eliminate for 2/3 weeks and see what happens. If a severe reaction occurs when re-introduced then it is best avoided. Lactose (the sugar of milk) free formula milk can be used for babies or soya. Lactose is well known for the reason why people steer clear of dairy!
Hidden Dairy Milk in FoodsEven small traces of milk left in foods can affect dairy sensitive people. Watch out for instant custard, dairy deserts, whey powder found in margarines, bakery foods and meaty items such as sausages and burgers where milk is often used to GLUE the meats together!!!
Mineral Imbalances from DairyDairy encourages sodium, and with a child's growth process sodium is less appropriate than potassium after weaning, (higher levels are normal for the foetus and baby). It is unfavourable to have higher sodium as this depletes energy and unbalances calcium, magnesium and trace minerals required to keep the body in balance. Also, this increases the toxin accumulation, interfering with the distribution of fluids and therefore increasing acidity levels, help!
Dairy can deplete the body of calcium and magnesium and can encourage a dehydrated body to mis-place calcium. Milk contains 10 times more calcium than magnesium, this can encourage health problems as there is not enough magnesium to regulate the calcium metabolism.
