Wheat Free, Dairy Free & Sugar Free BreadThis has to be the best Wheat & Gluten 'free' bread recipe that I have ever found or eaten!
1/2 cup buckwheat Flour
1/2 Soya Flour
1 Teaspoon Herbamare seasoning
11/2 Teaspoon cream of tartar / bicarbonate of soda
1 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
3/4 Cup Millet Flakes
1/2 Cup Whole Buckwheat Grains
1 Cup Rice Milk, Soya Milk or Carrot Juice
Squeeze of Agave Nectar or Honey - optional
(I've used a cheap bicarbonate of soda and tartar before and had a tummy ache! PLEASE get a good one and this link is one of the best!)
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
Grease a shallow small - medium tin with oil or line it with greaseproof paper.
This bread is baked like foccacia, quite flat and best cut into squares.
Sieve the flours and raising agents, seasoning and spices into a large bowl.
Add the millet flakes, whole buckwheat grains, sunflower seeds and milk.
Mix it all up - it should be of a pouring consistency. Bake it at 180 - 200 degress for 30 - 40 mins... keep an eye on it!
The size of the tin can depend on the size of your cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remove from the oven, allow to cool (if you can - I already burnt my mouth!), divide into squares and eat eat eat!
