Yoga Teacher Training with Helena

Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga with Helena Bingham Reps Level 3

Our Level 3 Diploma in teaching Yoga will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to plan, prepare and deliver a safe and effective yoga sessions and pursue a career in teaching yoga.

The course is for adults (aged 16+) and the entry requirements are:

a minimum of two years experience of participating in yoga classes is desirable
a degree of physical fitness is necessary as the course required physical exertion
basic skills in communication pitched at level 2

Qualification structure and content:

This qualification comprises of 5 mandatory units

Unit 1 Underpinning principles of teaching yoga
Unit 2 Anatomy and physiology for yoga
Unit 3 Planning a series of yoga sessions
Unit 4 Health and safety for yoga
Unit 5 Teaching a yoga session

Successful achievement of all six units must be achieved for the full qualification

For the assessment process you are required to complete:

Worksheets for each unit
1 multiple choice theory paper
10 week overview
Detailed session plans
Practical observations
Self evaluation
Personal development plans
Personal practice and reflection diary

SMART Qualifications is an approved training provider for Active IQ. On achieving the assessment process and the quality assurance process is completed your nationally recognised certificate will be processed. On certification you can gain entry to the Registered Exercise Professional (REPs) register at Level 3 and is worth 20 Continual Development Points (CPD).

You are required to attend 12 face to face training days with our highly qualified Yoga teacher who will support you throughout your learning journey.

Course Costs: 1490 per person, Payment plans are available (deposit of 250 required to hold place)
