Raw Chocolate BrowniesYou do need a dehydrator for this one (see below) and a very good blender - worth it!
2 Cups of soaked oats (soaked for 8-12 hours in water)
1 cups of Cacao nibs ground
2 Tablespoons Agave nectar
1/4 cup of water
1/4 cup organic extra virgin olive oil (cold pressed)
1 Tablespoon Maca Powder
2 Tablespoon Mesquite Powder
Grind the cacao nibs, and then put all of the ingredients (including the ground nibs but excluding the unground nibs) into your blender and blend away til you get a scrumptious thick and delicious puree. I always put the oats at the bottom to avoid it getting blocked!
Make the mixture about 1/2 inch thick - we find the thicker the better and more delicious!
Dry for 6-8 hrs and then score into squares and turn over...
Dry for another 2-4 hrs and then eat... enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! Drying time depends on your dehydrator - the little stockli below is a great dryer. I have one and it is perfect for crackers, dried fruits & cookies - it isn't too big or noisy either!
Try not to eat too many too quickly - I do and often find myself flying around the house for hrs!
