Humus Recipe

This humus recipe is simple and great and will please all - if there is something that you particularly don"t like that is in humus, just leave it out!

1 Cup chick peas - now you can use sprouted ones or cooked, up to you! I like them cooked best (soaked overnight and then cooked on a slow heat for 90 mins)
2 Tablespoons Tahini - again raw or the usual kind... I used raw when I made this recipe
1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
Juice of 1 lemon
2 - 3 tablespoons Organic Olive Oil
1 Clove garlic - optional**

1. Soak and cook the chick peas - or sprout some!
2. Add everything into your blender but with only 1 tablespoon olive oil
3. Blend and then add more olive oil to get the consistency that you like

I have just made another load of this and added in a sundried tomato and it delicious...

Play around with the quantities to get your desired consistency and taste of course!

** If garlic bothers your digestion you can either just leave it out or take out the inner green stem from the centre. Taking out the centre of the garlic does make a huge difference to reactions.
